Road figures are approximate and vary with the route and the exact start point.

By road

From Noida and Greater Noida, the Yamuna Expressway starts almost at your door: join at Pari Chowk and leave at the Mathura or Vrindavan exit. This is the simplest drive of any city on this list.

By train

Noida has no main-line station of its own for this route; most travellers take trains from Hazrat Nizamuddin or New Delhi to Mathura Junction.

Check current trains and fares on IRCTC or NTES before booking; schedules change.

By air

The nearest major airport is Delhi; from there, take the road route above.

Mathura to Vrindavan

Whichever way you come, the last stretch is the same. Mathura Junction to Vrindavan is about 15 km, usually 30 to 45 minutes by auto, e-rickshaw or taxi depending on traffic. Agree the fare before you sit. Inside Vrindavan the lanes are narrow and jam easily, so walk or take an e-rickshaw rather than drive to the door.

Before you go

Carry change for the expressway toll and start early on weekends.
