Road figures are approximate and vary with the route and the exact start point.
By road
By road the distance is too long for most people; rail or air is the realistic choice.
By train
Trains on the Howrah to Delhi routes reach Agra, Tundla or Delhi, and a few run to Mathura; change or continue by road from there.
Check current trains and fares on IRCTC or NTES before booking; schedules change.
By air
Fly to Delhi, then the train to Mathura Junction or the road on the Yamuna Expressway.
Mathura to Vrindavan
Whichever way you come, the last stretch is the same. Mathura Junction to Vrindavan is about 15 km, usually 30 to 45 minutes by auto, e-rickshaw or taxi depending on traffic. Agree the fare before you sit. Inside Vrindavan the lanes are narrow and jam easily, so walk or take an e-rickshaw rather than drive to the door.
Before you go
Allow a full day each way. Late-night arrivals in Mathura are best handled with a pre-booked taxi.
This site does not publish darshan or ekantik timings, which change; follow the official channels before you travel. For what to see once there, use the 2-day Vrindavan plan, and for the ashram itself read how to meet Premanand Ji Maharaj.
