Road figures are approximate and vary with the route and the exact start point.
By road
The road runs north through Gwalior and Agra; long but straightforward.
By train
Bhopal is on the main line to Delhi through Jhansi, Gwalior and Agra, and many trains stop at Mathura Junction. This is the easiest option.
Check current trains and fares on IRCTC or NTES before booking; schedules change.
By air
Rail is faster door to door than flying via Delhi.
Mathura to Vrindavan
Whichever way you come, the last stretch is the same. Mathura Junction to Vrindavan is about 15 km, usually 30 to 45 minutes by auto, e-rickshaw or taxi depending on traffic. Agree the fare before you sit. Inside Vrindavan the lanes are narrow and jam easily, so walk or take an e-rickshaw rather than drive to the door.
Before you go
Daytime fast trains make this an easy trip; arrive in Mathura before dark if you can.
This site does not publish darshan or ekantik timings, which change; follow the official channels before you travel. For what to see once there, use the 2-day Vrindavan plan, and for the ashram itself read how to meet Premanand Ji Maharaj.
