By road
Road travel is not practical; use rail or air.
By train
Mathura Junction is on the trunk route from Delhi to the south, so some long-distance trains from Bengaluru stop there; the journey takes well over a day.
Check current trains and fares on IRCTC or NTES before booking; schedules change.
By air
Fly to Delhi (or Agra if there is a suitable flight), then continue by train or by road.
Mathura to Vrindavan
Whichever way you come, the last stretch is the same. Mathura Junction to Vrindavan is about 15 km, usually 30 to 45 minutes by auto, e-rickshaw or taxi depending on traffic. Agree the fare before you sit. Inside Vrindavan the lanes are narrow and jam easily, so walk or take an e-rickshaw rather than drive to the door.
Before you go
Flying to Delhi and taking an early train to Mathura usually makes the best use of a short visit.
This site does not publish darshan or ekantik timings, which change; follow the official channels before you travel. For what to see once there, use the 2-day Vrindavan plan, and for the ashram itself read how to meet Premanand Ji Maharaj.
