The verse in full
In Roman letters
anangarangamangal prasangabhangurabhruvaan, suvibhram sasambhram drigantabaanapaatanaih.
nirantaran vasheekrit prateetanandanandane, kadaa karishyaseeh maan kripaa-kataaksh bhaajanam.
What it means
Her eyebrows curve like the stage on which love itself performs. From the corners of her eyes glances fall like arrows, playful and startled at once, and by these the renowned son of Nanda is held continuously under her sway. This is the theological heart of the stotra: Krishna is described as the one who is captivated, not the one who captivates.
