It is worth seeing that this follows from the teaching rather than being an administrative policy bolted on. If the name requires no permission, no initiation and no fee, then there is nothing left to sell. A tradition that let access run through payment would be contradicting its own central claim, and he has arranged the ashram so that the contradiction is not available.

What it asks of you is a single test you can apply to anything you encounter online. If money is being asked for in his name, the thing being offered is not connected to him.
